Cyclones Garner First-Ever Top-10 Ranking

AMES, Iowa ? The Iowa State volleyball team has moved up another notch in this week's AVCA Coaches Poll, garnering the school's first-ever top-10 ranking. The Cyclones (8-1) sit at No. 10 in this week's poll after switching places with Stanford in the rankings.

It will be a tough week for the Cyclones, who face Colorado in the Big 12 opener before traveling to No. 2 Texas for the first top-10 showdown in school history on Friday.

Penn State topped the poll followed by the Longhorns, who received six first-place votes, and Washington. The Big 12 had two other school's ranked in the top-25 with Nebraska coming in at No. 8 and Baylor at No. 24.
