Cyclones Face The Longhorns in First Round

AMES, Iowa?The Iowa State men's basketball team will face Texas at 8:30 p.m., Wednesday night (March 10) in the first round of the Phillips 66 Big 12 Championship in Kansas City, Mo. The Cyclones are the 11th seed and the Longhorns will be the sixth seed.
The winner of the ISU-UT game will battle No. 3 seed Baylor in the second round at 8:30 p.m., Thursday evening (March 11). All games will be played at the Sprint Center.
The Big 12 Network will broadcast ISU's first round game vs. the Longhorns and will be picked up by the following Iowa outlets: Des Moines/Ames (WOI), Cedar Rapids/Waterloo/Dubuque (Mediacom) and Sioux City (KPTH). The game will also be available on ESPN360.
