AMES, Iowa- After a record-setting year in the NBA D-League, former Cyclone great Curtis Stinson is still holding onto his NBA dreams.
The Bronx, N.Y., native, who scored 1,651 points for the Cyclones from 2004-06, was named First-Team All NBA D-League in 2010 after averaging 15.2 points and breaking the league record for assists in a season with 546. He led his Iowa Energy squad to a regular-season 37-13 mark, the best record in D-League history.
Stinson worked out in Ames today before traveling to Toronto where he hopes to secure a contract with the Raptors. He will participate in the NBA Summer League for a couple of teams.
Stinson sat down with cyclones.com to talk about his busy summer. Click on the "play link in the photo above, or click out the "video" slideout tab to launch the Clone Zone media player.
