- The Cyclones haven't lost since dropping the season opener to Florida 19 days ago. During the winning streak, ISU is hitting .323 while holding opponents to a .118 hitting percentage.
- Outside hitter Victoria Henson is averaging 4.19 kills and hitting .325. During the winning streak, Henson has been even better, averaging 4.43 kills and hitting .362.
- Iowa State went 2-0 last week, sweeping nationally-ranked Northern Iowa and defeating Iowa 3-0 on its home court. The Cyclones are 16-1 against intrastate foes since Christy Johnson-Lynch's arrival.
- In the wins over UNI and Iowa, Henson averaged 4.83 kills and hit .458 (29k-2e-59att).
- In her first chance as a starter, Jenson is making the most of the opportunity. Pressed into duty with Rachel Hockaday's season-ending knee injury, Jenson is averaging 2.67 kills and 2.70 digs. She is hitting .273 from her outside hitter slot, including .321 over the last five matches.
- Henson has been in double-figures in all eight matches this season and 16-straight dating back to last season.
- Iowa State hasn't allowed an opponent to hit above .225 this season. Kentucky (.222) was the only team to hit over .200 against the Cyclones.
- The Cyclones lead the Big 12 in hitting percentage (.303), while also topping the charts in opponent hitting percentage (.129).
- Jamie Straube is hitting .329 this season. The sophomore middle blocker has hit over .300 in each of the last three matches, including at least .500 twice.
- Henson (4.19 kills) and Landwehr (11.70 assists) lead the Big 12 in kills and assists, respectively.
- After a slow start at the net, ISU has returned to form, out blocking its last three opponents. Straube is averaging 1.33 blocks during the stretch to lead ISU.
- Iowa State's eight hitting errors against Iowa were the fewest since Oct. 15, 2008 when the Cyclones had just eight in a sweep of Texas Tech.
- Last weekend, Iowa State hit .400 against Milwaukee, marking the first time in 52 matches the Cyclones had been at .400 or better.
- Ashley Mass has now been in double figures 98 times in her career after posting 13 against UNI.
- Mass is second all-time at ISU with 1,870 career digs. The junior is just 34 shy of the school record. Steph McCannon (1992-95) holds the current mark with 1,904.
- Mass also owns the school record with 32 career 20-dig matches. She posted 20+ digs nine times in 2009.
- Henson is keying in on the school's kill record. The senior has 1,366, just 254 shy of Kirstin Hugdahl's record.
Streaks and Trends
- The Cyclones are No. 11 in last week's AVCA poll. It marks the 21st-straight week in the top-25. The Cyclones are 36-7 all-time when they are ranked.
- The Cyclones have won nine-straight home matches.

Series Notes
- Nebraska leads the all-time series 77-1, with Iowa State's lone win coming in 2009 in Lincoln.

- In Iowa State's only win against the Huskers, Rachel Hockaday led the Cyclones with 18 kills and 11 digs. Henson finished with 14 kills and Straube added 11 for the Cyclones, who out hit Nebraska .203-.160. Mass finished with 25 digs in the five-set win.

New Home For The Cyclones
- The Cyclones will be playing their 2010 home schedule at Ames High School after flooding on Aug. 11 caused heavy damage to Hilton Coliseum. Hilton Coliseum had over 10 feet of water inside and the volleyball court, with nets still standing, floated on top of the water.
Iowa State's locker room, training room and the coaching staff's office was damaged.
Iowa State was 50-19 at Hilton Coliseum over the past five seasons, including 24-4 the last two.
Petersen Turning Heads
- Johnson-Lynch has said numerous times this fall that Kelsey Petersen is likely the team's most improved player. Petersen, who is hitting .333 this fall, hit .168 as a freshman and .225 as a sophomore.
The Kearney, Neb. native has hit above .500 in five matches this fall.
