- The Cyclones are 5-1 against UNI since Christy Johnson-Lynch's arrival. Prior to her arrival UNI had won 11 in a row in the series.
- The only loss ISU has had since Johnson-Lynch became Iowa State's head coach came in 2008 at Hilton Coliseum. UNI won that match 3-1. The Cyclones avenged the loss later that fall in the first round of the NCAA Championships with a 3-1 win.
- In three career matches against UNI, Henson has averaged 5.89 kills per set and hit .347.
New Home For The Cyclones
- The Cyclones will be playing their 2010 home schedule at Ames High School after flooding on Aug. 11 caused heavy damage to Hilton Coliseum. Hilton Coliseum had over 10 feet of water inside and the volleyball court, with nets still standing, floated on top of the water.

Iowa State was 50-19 at Hilton Coliseum over the past five seasons, including 24-4 the last two.
Hockaday To Miss Season

Hockaday is scheduled to have surgery Sept. 22.
Hot Hitting

The competition hasn't been a blow over either, with four of the six matches coming against NCAA Tournament teams from a year ago. Three of those teams (Florida, Kentucky, FIU) advanced to the second round or further.
