AMES, Iowa - Iowa State senior
Scott Christopherson is one of the best returning shooters in all of college basketball. The LaCrosse, Wis., native has made 131 3-pointers the last two seasons, including 86 last year, the fifth-best single-season total in school history.
The most efficient long-range shooter in Iowa State history (43.7 percent from 3-point range), Christopherson won't be the only bomber on the Cyclone roster this year. Flanked by
Chris Babb,
Chris Allen and
Tyrus McGee, the quartet has a combined total of 564 3-pointers made at the collegiate level.
The loss of All-Big 12 point guard
Diante Garrett leaves the Cyclones a hole to fill at the lead guard spot. Christopherson understands he may see more time on the ball this year and has accepted his new role. Christopherson recently sat down with cyclones.com to talk about practice. Click on the photo above to watch the interview.
