AMES, Iowa - Metro Sports in Kansas City has picked up both Iowa State's home volleyball match against Kansas on Oct. 26 and its road match at Missouri on Nov. 9, the network has announced. Mediacom Connections Channel will air the Kansas match on tape-delay at 7:30 p.m. CDT on Oct. 27.
With Metro Sports' pick-up of two more matches, the Cyclones are scheduled to appear on the network four times this season including Iowa State's road matches at Kansas and Kansas State earlier this season.
The Mediacom tape-delay broadcast will air statewide and in surrounding states on MC22, the Connections Channel. The channel is available to all Mediacom cable subscribers and is located at channel 22 (channel 12 in Mason City, Charles City and Hampton areas). Viewers in Minnesota should check local listings for their Connections Channel listing.
In all, the Cyclones (13-3, 4-1 Big 12) are scheduled for 10 televised matches this season. The two additional Metro Sports broadcasts and an ESPNU broadcast of Iowa State's match at Oklahoma on Nov. 2 are the remaining televised matches on the schedule.
This Saturday, the No. 16 Cyclones are in action at Hilton Coliseum against No. 22 Oklahoma at 6:30 p.m. CDT.
