AMES, Iowa - Wednesday night marks the last home game for four Iowa State seniors, as Diante Garrett, Jamie Vanderbeken, Darion “Jake” Anderson and Drew Mitchell hit the court at Hilton Coliseum for the final time against Colorado. The staff at cyclones.com recently sat down with all four seniors to talk about their memories at Iowa State.

Diante Garrett, 6-4, 190, Milwaukee, Wis.
Garrett has been a staple in the Iowa State lineup for four seasons, starting 96 games in his Cyclone career to tie for 13th all-time. Garrett has arguably been one of the most improved players in the nation this year, increasing his scoring average by 8.0 points (9.2-17.2 ppg) from a year ago. Garrett, who ranks 13th nationally and is the Big 12 leader in assists (6.1), will likely be the first Cyclone to lead the Big 12 in assists since 1997 (Jacy Holloway).
Garrett has dished out 593 dimes in his career, third-best in Iowa State history and the fifth-most in the history of the Big 12 Conference. He is one of two players in the nation to average 17.0 points and 6.0 assists.
Garrett, who has 1,311 points in his career to rank 17th in school history, became just the third player in Iowa State history to record over 1,000 points and 500 assists in a career. The senior has eight 20-point scoring outings on the season, including four with 27 or more points.
The Milwaukee, Wis., native will leave Iowa State as one of its best point guards in school history.
