AMES, Iowa – The earth-moving phase in the construction of what will be Iowa State's brand new state-of-the-art video display board inside Jack Trice Stadium is underway. Construction of the structure, on the stadium's north end, is in its third week.
A large crane anchors the construction zone, which is closed to all, during the erection of the display board's support system. The top of the new scoreboard will be 101 feet above the playing surface.
