Gibson Settling In As A Cyclone

AMES, Iowa- Percy Gibson was still undecided on which school he would attend just over one month ago. Luckily for Iowa State fans, the Detroit center, who was named to the Detroit Free Press' six-man Dream Team in 2011, he picked the Cyclones.
Gibson was a huge late pick-up for Iowa State. The 6-9, 240-pounder averaged 21.2 points, 12.0 rebounds and 2.5 blocks while leading his Detroit Southeastern squad to the Class A Michigan state championship game.
Gibson is now in Ames attending summer classes, competing in the Capital City League and preparing for the 2011-12 season. The freshman chatted with cyclones.com recently. Click on the photo above to watch the interview.
