Cyclones Continue Season Ticket Home Delivery

AMES, Iowa - For the third consecutive year, the Iowa State volleyball team will travel door-to-door delivering tickets to season ticket holders in Ames. The Cyclones will be making the rounds on Thursday, Aug. 18 from 6-7 p.m.
"We really enjoy this event," head Cyclones coach Christy Johnson-Lynch said. "Our players love going out and surprising some of our season ticket holders and we've received so much positive feedback from our fans. It's a tradition we hope to continue for many years."
Since Johnson-Lynch came to Iowa State in 2005, the Cyclones have made five-straight trips to the NCAA tournament and seen season ticket sales explode by more than 400 percent. 2010 season ticket sales topped 1,200, more than double the number sold in 2009.
The Cyclones will begin the 2011 season at the Northern Illinois Invitational on Aug. 26-27, playing teams from Cincinnati, IUPUI and the hosting Huskies before opening the home slate with the Iowa State Challenge, Sept. 2-3 at Hilton Coliseum.
