AMES, Iowa - Last week, the 18th-ranked Cyclones traveled around Ames delivering season tickets to Iowa State fans.
The Cyclones, back in Hilton Coliseum for their full slate of matches this year, have sold over 800 season tickets to date, the most season tickets sold in program history when playing at Hilton for a full season.
In 2010, over 1,200 season tickets were sold after it was announced that Iowa State's home matches would be played at Ames High School, which has a capacity of 2,000 people as opposed to Hilton's volleyball capacity of 8,524.
Fans who purchase season tickets will receive reserved lower level seating, reserved parking in the lots around Hilton and two meet and greets with Cyclone coaches and players during the season.
Season tickets are still available and can be purchased at cyclones.com (click here) or by calling the Iowa State ticket office at 1-888-478-2925.
The Cyclones begin the season on the road this weekend at the Northern Illinois Invitational where they will play Cincinnati at 2 p.m. CDT on Friday Aug. 26 in the season opener.
Iowa State will return home Sept. 2-3 to host Southern Miss, Arizona State and Iowa in the 2011 Iowa State Challenge.
