AMES, Iowa - Over the next three weeks cyclones.com will introduce fans to the freshmen of the Iowa State volleyball team, providing some insight to a newcomer's view of Iowa State and Cyclone volleyball.

This week, Tory Knuth (6-3, MB) is in the spotlight. The Des Moines Register's 2010 Player of the Year, Knuth has been familiar with the Cyclone volleyball team since before coming to Iowa State; her sister, Taylor, is a junior middle blocker for the Cyclones. Touted as a top 50 recruit, Knuth was a Gatorade Player of the Year finalist as a senior at Johnston High School and earned a spot on the Under Armour All-American Watch List.
