On the year, Bigbee has 304 kills in 28 matches, becoming just the second Cyclone freshman to cross the 300-kill threshold.
Hahn, an all-region and all-American honorable mention last season, was selected to the all-region team for the first time in her career after being named the Big 12 Libero of the Year for the second-straight year. The junior broke a league record this season with eight weekly awards and boasts 12 such awards in her career, third all-time in Big 12 history. The Big 12 Setter of the Year, Landwehr receives her second all-region team honor after being named to the team following the 2011 team as well. Landwehr, who was an AVCA First Team All-American in 2011, was tops in the Big 12 this season with a conference average of 11.93 assists per set and tied a career-high with 66 assists in Iowa State's upset win over No. 3 Texas on senior day. She was also one of two Cyclones, along with Straube, to be named a candidate for the 2012 Senior CLASS Award.
Hurtt has been the Cyclones' go-to offensive threat this season, averaging 3.45 kills per set and 3.64 points per set during Big 12 play, ranking in the top-10 in both categories. Through the second round of the NCAA Tournament, Hurtt is averaging 3.05 kills per set, leading the Cyclone offense.
Straube garners her third all-region nod after being named to the all-region team in 2010 and 2011. The two-time AVCA All-American honorable mention hit .294 in her senior season, averaging 2.33 kills per set. One of Iowa State's most decorated athletes, Straube was also named the Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Each of the four AVCA All-Region honorees was also named to the All-Big 12 first team. Hahn and Hurtt were unanimous all-conference selections.
