NORMAN, Okla. - Iowa State couldn't get past No. 44 Oklahoma Friday afternoon, falling to the Sooners 7-0. Iowa State's record drops to 3-13 overall and 0-3 in Big 12 action, while OU improves to 8-8, 3-1.

The Sooners captured all three doubles matches, taking an early 1-0 lead over Iowa State's pairs.

When singles play commenced, Oklahoma clinched the match just three matches in, with Mia Lancaster's 6-2, 6-2 victory at No. 3 over Simona Cacciuttolo.

With the match already decided in OU's favor, freshman Ksenia Pronina took Marie-Pier Huet into a 10-point tiebreaker in pursuit of the No. 2 spot. After dropping the first set 6-3, Pronina made a huge comeback, winning 6-1 the second time around. However, a 1-0 (5) loss wrapped up the set in the Sooners' favor.

Iowa State will continue Big 12 action in Oklahoma tomorrow afternoon, when the team will travel to Stillwater to face the No. 41 Cowgirls at 1 p.m.
