AMES, Iowa - Two Iowa State football players agreed to free agent contracts with an NFL team. Leonard Johnson, the Cyclones' second-team All-Big 12 cornerback, has signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and second-team all-conference offensive guard Hayworth Hicks has signed with the Indianapolis Colts.
Johnson finished his career having played in 50 games, 44 as a starter. He finished his career with 247 tackles. Johnson's career total includes six interceptions and 26 pass breakups. He forced six fumbles and recovered eight.
Hicks started 24 games in his career and played in a total of 36 games. He played at right guard in 2011.
