AMES, Iowa – The No. 19 Cyclones (7-4, 1-0 Big 12) take to the road for the first time during the Big 12 schedule this week, traveling to Kansas (13-2, 1-0 Big 12) on Wednesday night. The match with the Jayhawks will be televised on Metro Sports in the Kansas City area.
Heading into the mid-week match, sophomore outside hitter
Victoria Hurtt is coming off one of her best career performances in which she hit a career-high .444 against Baylor and was one of four Cyclones with at least 10 kills.
Mackenzie Bigbee paced Iowa State with 18 kills in the match, the most kills by a Big 12 player in a league match this season.

Kristen Hahn collected 25 digs against the Bears in her second-straight match with 25 digs. After recording 26 digs in Iowa State's upset over then-No. 1 Nebraska, Hahn was named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week and one of the NCAA's top-three performers for the week of Sept. 17.
Kansas tore through its non-conference schedule, losing only at Arkansas and Notre Dame while going 8-0 at home, but Iowa State poses the biggest competition of the season for Jayhawks as their first ranked foe. Overall, Kansas has outplayed opponents in all key categories, including a 2.94-1.75 blocking advantage. Three Jayhawks average more than 1.00 blocks per set, led by Caroline Jarmoc's 1.43 blocks per set. Jarmoc is third in the Big 12 in blocking this season and sits atop the offensive leaderboard with a hitting percentage of .409.

• Iowa State is back on the road this week, heading to Kansas for a Metro Sports showdown against the Jayhawks.
