Morning Match Scheduled In Lubbock

AMES, Iowa - When No. 19 Iowa State (7-5, 1-1 Big 12) travels to Texas Tech on Oct. 6, it will play its earliest match of the season; an 11 a.m. CDT first serve is on tap against the Red Raiders.
The morning match was scheduled after Texas Tech's home football game, also on Oct. 6, announced a 2:30 p.m. kick off.
Iowa State swept the Red Raiders in Lubbock last season in head coach Christy Johnson-Lynch's record-setting 136th win.
This Saturday, the Cyclones host TCU (13-2, 2-0 Big 12) at noon at Hilton Coliseum. Fans who bring their Iowa State-Texas Tech football ticket to the Hilton ticket office, will receive admission to the match for $2 and the first 200 Iowa State students through the doors will receive free Subway sandwhiches.
