AMES, Iowa- The Iowa State soccer team registered it's first tie since the 2011 season as the Cyclones' third conference game of the season ended in a 0-0 draw against Kansas.
Turning point of the game
Early in the first period Kansas forward Liana Salazar (5-5-2) fired a shot that looked to be headed into the back of the net, but Iowa State (6-6-1) senior goalkeeper Maddie Jobe made a last-second leaping save sending the shot over the cross bar. Seconds later Jobe's heroics continue as she laid out for a save after a bullet from Kansas' Caroline Kastor.
