KANSAS CITY, Mo.- The Iowa State men's basketball team (22-11 overall, 11-8 Big 12) fell in the semifinals of the Big 12 Championships on Friday to No. 7 Kansas (28-5 overall, 15-4 Big 12) by a score of 88-73. Freshman forward Georges Niang had 19 points for the Cyclones on 8 of 14 shooting from the field.

Join the ISU Alumni Association Club of Kansas City for a fun-filled evening of basketball, music, and ISU friends at Kelly's Westport Inn (500 Westport Rd.) on Wednesday, March 13 starting at 5 p.m. All ISU alumni, family, and friends are invited. Brian Congdon, an Iowa favorite, will play from 5-8 p.m., and Kelly's will be running the ISU mug special once again! Purchase a new mug for $7 and domestic beer refills are $5 for 34 ounces.
