Netten Named Lou Groza Award Star of the Week

AMES, Iowa- Iowa State kicker Cole Netten was one of three specialists who earned Lou Groza Award Star of the Week accolades for their performances in week seven.
A native of Ankeny, Iowa, Netten kept his perfect season streak alive by connecting on all three of his field goal attempts (32, 36, 38) in Iowa State's 37-30 win over Toledo. He also made all four of his PATs.
Netten, who is 7-of-7 on his FG attempts and 18-of-18 on PATs this season, is one of just six kickers in FBS who is perfect on the season with seven or more FG attempts.
Netten has made 10 field goals in a row dating back to last season and been successful on 80 percent of his career kicks (20-25).
