AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team returns to Hilton Coliseum on Wednesday to take on Kansas at 6 p.m. The match between the Cyclones (10-7, 2-4 Big 12) and Jayhawks (15-5, 3-3 Big 12) will be televised nationally on ESPNU.

Cyclone Notes
- The Iowa State volleyball team returns home Wednesday evening for a match against Kansas at 6 p.m.
- The Cyclones are coming off a five-set loss at Texas Tech on Saturday. ISU was led by 21 kills off the bench from Ciara Capezio, who also led ISU with a pair of service aces and four total blocks (one solo, three assists) while recording a double-double with 11 digs. Mackenzie Bigbee recorded 16 kills, Alexis Conaway contributed 12 and Natalie Vondrak came off the bench for a career-high 10 kills. Caitlin Nolan led the defense with 20 digs.
- After a slow start to her 2014 season Bigbee, a 2013 AVCA Honorable Mention All-American has been one of ISU's top players in recent weeks, recording 2.90 kills per set at a .310 hitting percentage across the past five matches.
- Conaway, a true freshman middle blocker, has been one of ISU's top offensive threats in recent weeks. She has recorded at least 10 kills in seven of her last 11 matches, and ranks seventh in the Big 12 with her .337 hitting percentage.
- Nolan has continued ISU's tradition of great liberos, ranking atop the Big 12 with 5.38 digs per set. The junior from Southlake, Texas is a two-time Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week so far in 2014. She has posted at least 20 digs in each of her last five matches. Nolan's 26 digs at South Dakota is the most by a Big 12 player in a three-set match this season.
- The Cyclones have had three different players record at least 20 kills in the last five matches. Victoria Hurtt led ISU with 20 kills in a win against West Virginia, Morgan Kuhrt finished with 21 kills in ISU's win over Oklahoma and Ciara Capezio came off the bench to post 21 kills at Texas Tech on Saturday.
- Three of ISU's seven losses have come to the top-three teams in NCAA RPI in No. 1 Stanford, No. 2 Florida State and No. 3 Texas. This week, Iowa State checked into the NCAA RPI at No. 26.
