AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team makes its first appearance at Hilton Coliseum in two weeks as ISU (7-5, 0-2 Big 12) hosts West Virginia (11-5, 1-1 Big 12) Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. The match will be Iowa State's "Dig Pink" match, as the Cyclones will wear pink jerseys in support of breast cancer awareness. Fans are encouraged to wear pink as well.

Cyclone Headlines
- For the first time in two weeks, the Iowa State volleyball team returns to Hilton Coliseum as the Cyclones will play its first Big 12 home match of the season against West Virginia at 1 p.m. The match also marks Iowa State's “Dig Pink” match.
- The Cyclones just finished up a three-match road swing, ending with a three-set loss at No. 2 Texas on Wednesday night.
- Iowa State was with UT the whole way in the first set, getting the set to 23-23 before defending Big 12 Player of the Year Haley Eckerman fired back-to-back kills to give the Longhorns the first 25-23. UT would win the next two sets 25-15 and 25-15.
- Morgan Kuhrt led the Iowa State attack with 12 kills in Austin. Samara West also had a nice match offensively with eight kills. Caitlin Nolan led the ISU defense with a match-high 19 digs.
- Nolan has continued ISU's tradition of great liberos, ranking atop the Big 12 and 18th in the NCAA with 5.20 digs per set. Nolan, the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week after the first weekend of the season, has also helped lead ISU's service game at 0.29 aces per set, ranking 10th in the Big 12.
- Alexis Conaway has been the key figure in the improvement of Iowa State's blocking. Conaway ranks second in the Big 12 and 28th in the NCAA with her 1.43 blocks per set. Conaway has posted at least 5.0 total blocks in seven of Iowa State's last eight matches.
- Iowa State ranks seventh in the Big 12 and 109th nationally in blocks per set. Last season, ISU spent the entire campaign at last in the Big 12 and below 290th nationally in blocks per set.
- Four of Iowa State's five losses in 2014 have come to some of the top squads in the country. Stanford is the No. 1 team in the country, Texas is the No. 2 team in the country,Florida State has moved up to No. 5 with an 13-0 record and Minnesota is No. 18 in the nation.
