ISU assisted on 79.3 percent of its 29 field goals in the game (23 assists). After allowing Oakland to shoot 51.8 percent in the season opener, ISU held Georgia State to 39.1 percent shooting. GSU's stars R.J. Hunter and Ryann Harrow were a combined 14-for-42 from the field.

Both players will be eligible to return for the Alabama game after missing the exhibition game and the first two games of the regular season due to a violation of team rules.
