AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State women's basketball team (6-2, 0-0 Big 12) continues its five-game home stand against the Fairfield Stags (2-7, 1-1 MAAC) on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. in Hilton Coliseum. Iowa State looks to continue its home win streak to six-straight games.

- Iowa State faces Fairfield on Sunday, Dec. 21 at 1 p.m. in Hilton Coliseum. This is the third meeting between the Cyclones and Stags. Iowa State is 2-0 all-time against Fairfield (2-7, 1-1 MAAC). Iowa State (6-2, 0-0 Big 12) looks for its sixth-straight home win this season. Iowa State is 5-1 all-time against teams in the MAAC conference.
- Iowa State ranks sixth in the country in offensive points per possession with 1.12. The Cyclones are in good company at the top with No. 2 UConn, No. 1 South Carolina, No. 9 Baylor, No. 5 Notre Dame and Washington rounding out the top five.
- Iowa State ranks first in the nation in assist-turnover ratio (1.83). Senior point guard Nikki Moody, the top returning point guard in the Big 12, is fourth nationally in assists per game with 7.1 and second in the Big 12.
- Moody became the 26th player in Iowa State history to reach 1,000 career points. Against UAPB, Moody moved into 24th all-time passing Vanessa Ward (1,063). Moody sits at 1,071 points for her career, which puts her at 24th all-time in the record books. She is four points shy from 23rd (Etta Burns, 1,071).
- Moody is second in the nation in career assists (591) and third nationally in career assists per game (5.79). Moody ranks second in Iowa State history in career assists with 591, she trails the school record held by Lyndsey Medders by just 128. Moody also led the Cyclones in assists with 163 last season, becoming just the fifth Cyclone to lead ISU in assists in three-consecutive seasons.
- Iowa State is first in the Big 12 and sixth in the nation in 3-pointers per game, averaging 9.7 per contest. Senior Brynn Williamson leads the Big 12 and is 44th nationally with 2.75 made per game.
- Williamson ranks 17th in the nation in active career 3-point field goals made, with 204. Her 204 makes ranks ninth in ISU history. She is just two makes away from passing Lyndsey Medders in eighth with 205. She also ranks 14th in career-active 3-pointers attempted with 602 total. She is just two attempts behind Stacy Frese, who ranks sixth in ISU history.
- Sophomore guard Seanna Johnson leads the Big 12 Conference with 9.4 rebounds per game. Johnson has recorded four double-figure rebounding games so far this season.
- The 2014-15 season marks the 20th in the tenure of Fennelly. Fennelly has led Iowa State to 15 NCAA Tournament appearances, which is the most of any Big 12 team since 1997. Fennelly boasts a 422-195 record at Iowa State and a 588-248 record in his 27-year career as a head coach. His 588 career wins lists him as 17th in the NCAA among active coaches.
- Over the last 19 seasons, no team in NCAA Division I has netted (4,824), attempted (13,515) or hit more 3-pointers per game (7.82) than the Cyclones. Over the last 19 seasons, Iowa State has also recorded the seventh-best 3-point percentage (35.7) in all of Division I. ISU's dominance from beyond the arc is unmatched and unprecedented.
- With the Cyclones appearance in last year's NCAA Tournament, they extended their streak to eight-straight appearances in the tournament. ISU is one of just 13 schools to make the last eight NCAA Tournaments.
Last Time Out
- The Cyclones overcame a slow start to defeat the Arkansas Pine-Bluff Golden Lions 82-56. The Cyclones used 11 3-pointers and placed four in double-figures to top UAPB.
- Junior guard Kidd Blaskowsky netted 17 points in her first start of the season, while also hauling in five rebounds. Sophomore guard Seanna Johnson led all scorers with 18 points and seven rebounds.
- Under Fairfield head coach Joe Frager's tutelage, the Stags have averaged 20 wins per season (141 overall), earned 17 All-MAAC and five All-Met Team recognitions and advanced to the MAAC Championship Final in two of the last four seasons. .
- The Stags were picked to finish fourth in the conference for the second-consecutive season, while Fairfield's Felicia DaCruz was named to the Preseason All-MAAC second team.
- Fairfield ranks second in the MAAC in field-goal percentage, shooting 41.5 percent. They also rank second in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting 37.9 percent.
- The Stags average 15.1 assists per game, which holds firm at second in the MAAC. Stag point guard Felicia DaCruz has a league-high 3.5 assist-turnover ratio.
- The Stags signature win of the season came with an 81-77 double-overtime win against Butler.
