MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Iowa State (6-3, 0-0 Big 12) dropped a 7-0 decision to Minnesota (7-2, 0-0 Big Ten) Friday afternoon at the Baseline Tennis Center.
The Cyclones fell behind after dropping all three doubles matches to start the match.
In singles play, Samantha Budai battled at No. 2 singles before falling to Minnesota's Natallia Pintusava, 6-2, 7-5. At the top spot, Ksenia Pronina fell to Tereza Brichacova, 6-4, 6-0.
The Cyclones will return to action Saturday when they face No. 70 Marshall at 1 p.m.
