AMES, Iowa - Iowa State continues to be among the nation's annual Division I men's basketball attendance leaders, which were announced today by the NCAA.
Iowa State averaged 14,192 fans per home game in 2013-14, which was up from 2012-13 (13,393). The Cyclones ranked 20th nationally, with Syracuse leading the nation at 26,253.
The Cyclones filled Hilton Coliseum at 98.6 percent of capacity last season, 10th best among the nation's top-20 in average attendance.
The 2013-14 season marked just the third time in school history that ISU has averaged more than 14,000 fans per game (1985-86, 1987-88).
Iowa State finished 28-8 overall, including 15-1 at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones recorded 13 sellouts in 2013-14.
