AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State men's basketball team has been recognized with the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2013-14 Team Academic Excellence Award. The award recognizes outstanding academic achievement by a team with a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2013-14 season.
The Cyclones are one of just 30 NCAA Division I teams on the list. Only nine teams earned the award and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.
