AMES, Iowa – Former Iowa State tight end
E.J. Bibbs is expected to be invited to participate in the 2015 NFL Combine, Feb. 17-23 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. Over 300 prospects are expected to attend the combine, which will be televised on the NFL Network.
A First-Team All-Big 12 selection in 2014, Bibbs was one of the best tight ends in the nation as a John Mackey Award semifinalist. Bibbs led all “power 5” conference tight ends in touchdown catches (8) and was second in catches per game (4.5).
The Chicago, Ill., native finished the season with 45 receptions for 382 yards. It marks the fourth-straight season where a Cyclone has attended the combine: 2012 (Leonard Johnson, Kelechi Osemele), 2013 (A.J. Klein), 2014 (Jeremiah George).
