AMES, Iowa - Saturday in Austin will feature a battle of two of the three remaining undefeated teams in Big 12 play, as the Iowa State volleyball team takes on No. 3 Texas. First serve between the Cyclones and the Longhorns at Gregory Gymnasium will be at 7 p.m.

Cyclone Headlines
- The Iowa State volleyball team is 2-0 in Big 12 play, but now face its stiffest test yet as the Cyclones travel to Austin for a Saturday showdown against No. 3 Texas. First serve at Gregory Gym will be at 7 p.m.
- The Cyclones are already 1-0 on the week in road Big 12 matches, having defeated Oklahoma in four sets in Norman on Wednesday.
- Iowa State bounced back after dropping the first set 30-28 to win teh next three sets. The Cyclone attack was led by 17 kills each from Alexis Conaway and Morgan Kuhrt.
- Conaway, a sophomore middle blocker, set a career high with her 17 kills, earing it with a .429 hitting percentage. After being slowed in preseason by a sprained ankle, the Orange City native is at her best. She has earned her 1.97 kills per set at a .390 hitting percentage, and is posting 0.84 blocks per set.
- ISU libero Caitlin Nolan finished with 33 digs, her sixth career match with at least 30 digs. In the win over the Sooners, she had 10 digs in the first set and 11 in the third. She now has six sets in 2015 with at least 10 digs, and 16 in her career.
- Nolan, a 2014 AVCA Third Team All-American and the defending Big 12 Libero of the Year, leads the Big 12 and ranks fifth in the country with her 5.82 digs per set. Four of the seven highest dig totals posted in the Big 12 this season have been recorded by Nolan.
- Jess Schaben had her 10th match of the season with at least 10 kills against the Sooners, finishing with 10 kills including the match-point kill. Schaben, a true freshman, leads Iowa State and ranks seventh in the BIg 12 with her 3.29 kills per set, which she has recorded at a .281 hitting percentage.
- The Cyclones have a dynamic one-two punch at middle blocker, with Conaway being joined by redshirt sophomore Samara West. An Omaha native, West had 10 kills at a .474 hitting percentage against the Sooners and ranks second in the Big 12 with her .423 hitting percentage.
