AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team returns to Hilton Coliseum Wednesday for a 6:30 p.m. match against West Virginia.
Wednesday's match will serve as another Double Punch Night for Frequent Fan Card holders. Tickets can be purchased now on cyclones.com (click

Cyclone Headlines
- The Iowa State volleyball team returns to Hilton Coliseum Wednesday for a midweek match against West Virginia. First serve will be at 6:30 p.m.
- The Cyclones are coming off a four-set home win against TCU. The Cyclones took the first two sets 25-16 and 25-22, but the Horned Frogs bounced back to take the third 25-17. ISU rallied to take the fourth set 25-22 and the match.
- The ISU effort was led by Big 12 Rookie of the Week Jess Schaben, who posted 16 kills at a .341 hitting percentage. Now a three-time Big 12 Rookie of the Week, Schaben was also strong on the blocks with a season-best three block assists.
- Schaben leads Iowa State and ranks sixth in the Big 12 with 3.23 kills per set. She has brought her consistent play to the conference slate, hitting 3.05 kills per set at a .294 hitting percentage.
- The Iowa State back row was led by Caitlin Nolan, whose 30 digs against TCU won her Big 12 Defensive Player of the Week, the sixth of her career and second of 2015. It was Nolan's third 30-dig match of the season, and seventh of her career.
- Nolan, a 2014 AVCA Third Team All-American, leads the Big 12 and ranks third in the NCAA with 5.98 digs per set. Nolan has at least 10 digs in every match this season, and a streak of 35-straight dating back to last season. She also has nine sets in 2015, 19 in her career, with at least 10 digs.
- ISU boasts a dynamic one-two punch at middle blocker in sophomores Samara West and Alexis Conaway. West ranks third on the Cyclones with her 2.37 kills per set and leads the Big 12 and ranks 14th in the NCAA with her .426 hitting percentage. She is also Iowa State's leading blocker at 0.81 blocks per set.
- Alexis Conaway, a sophomore middle blocker, has stepped up her game in Big 12 play, ranking third on the team in conference action with 2.70 kills per set at a .325 hitting percentage. Conaway leads ISU in blocking in Big 12 matches with 0.95 blocks per set.
