Pierson Invited To College Gridiron Showcase

AMES, Iowa – Iowa State's All-Big 12 defensive end Dale Pierson has been invited to play in the second annual College Gridiron Showcase All-Star Game in January.
Held in Arlington, Texas, the CGS produced 10 NFL Draft picks in its inaugural season a year ago.
A native of Bakersfield, Calif., Pierson was named Second-Team All-Big 12 in his senior season for the Cyclones.
Pierson tied Iowa State's record for sacks in a season with 8.5 and led all ISU down linemen with 41 tackles. His 8.5 sacks tied for second in the Big 12.
He also ranked second on the team and tied for 11th in the Big 12 in TFL with 12.5.
