AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State volleyball team will begin its 10th-straight NCAA Volleyball Championship Thursday against Miami (FL) at 5 p.m. in Madison, Wiscosnin at the UW Field House. The two teams will be looking to advance to the second round, where they would take on the winner of No. 6 seed Wisconsin and Oregon, which will be played following the ISU-UM match.

here. Currently, only all-session tickets are on sale. Tickets for single matches will not go on sale until the day of the respective matches. Tickets can be purchased the day of the match at Camp Randall Stadium and the UW Field House.

- The Iowa State volleyball team will begin its 10th-consecutive NCAA Volleyball Championship Thursday evening at 5 p.m. against Miami (FL) in a first round match-up.
- In the Cyclones' 11 trips to the NCAA Volleyball Championship, the Cyclones have a 9-2 record in first-round matches, with the only losses coming in 2010 and 2013.
- Iowa State is one of 11 programs to advance to the NCAA Volleyball Championship in 10-straight seasons (full list on page three).
- ISU finished the regular season with an 18-10 overall record and finished third in the Big 12 with an 11-5 conference mark. The Cyclones have finished third or better in the Big 12 each of the past seven seasons.
- The Cyclones wrapped up its regular season Saturday at No. 12 Colorado State, falling to the Rams in five sets. The Cyclones won the first and third sets, but were unable to lock up the match, as CSU scored the final three points of the match after the fifth was tied 12-12.
- Iowa State's offense was led by Big 12 Freshman of the Year Jess Schaben, who had 18 kills at a .298 hitting percentage. Schaben, who was also named to the Big 12 All-Freshman Team and All-BIg 12 Second Team, ranks fifth in the Big 12 with her 3.21 kills per set. She has 18 matches with at least 10 kills in 2015.
- The Cyclones also got 17 kills from All-Big 12 First Teamer Morgan Kuhrt. Kuhrt was ISU's top attacker in conference play, with the right side averaging 3.15 kills per set against Big 12 foes.
- The ISU defense is led by Big 12 Libero of the Year and All-Big 12 First Team selection Caitlin Nolan. A 2014 AVCA Third-Team All-American, Nolan leads the Big 12 and ranks fifth in the NCAA with 5.81 digs per set. She has 15 matches with at least 20 digs in 2015 and 12 sets with at least 10 digs.
- ISU middle blocker Alexis Conaway was also named to the All-Big 12 First Team. She was a member of the All-Big 12 Second Team in 2014 and is averaging 2.02 kills per set this year.
