AMES, Iowa – Junior College transfers have impacted the Iowa State football team in 2015.

Defensive stars like Dale Pierson, Jordan Harris, Jay Jones and Demond Tucker all began their careers at a junior college before arriving in Ames.

A total of 10 former junior college players have started at least one game for the Cyclones this season, and head football coach Paul Rhoads will continue to look for the next crop of junior college standouts in future recruiting classes.
