- ISU is in the midst of a span of games in which they will play three of four games against teams currently ranked in the top-5 of the AP poll...in total, ISU is playing four of five games against teams ranked in the top-10.

- Iowa State dominated the second half, out-scoring KU 49-29, en route to a 85-72 win against Kansas Monday night in Ames...the 13-point win was the largest by the Cyclones in the series since 1985...the win gave ISU four wins in the last five meetings with Kansas, making it the first school to beat KU four times in five tries under Bill Self.
- Morris led the Cyclones in scoring for the second game in a row, tallying 21 points to go along with nine assists (no turnovers)...Niang chipped in 19 points, 15 of which came in the second half...Nader (17) and Thomas (13) were also in double figures.
