- Iowa State returns home to face TCU Saturday night...the Cyclones fell to No. 25 Baylor on Tuesday night in Waco and will look to improve on their 11-2 home record this season...A win would give ISU at least 12 home wins for the sixth consecutive season.
- ISU's final three home games will come against the bottom three teams in the Big 12 standings, but its two road games are against the top-two teams.
- The Cyclones have wins against the teams currently ranked No. 2 (Kansas), No. 3 (Oklahoma) and No. 4 (Iowa) in the AP top-10...ISU has won 22 games against ranked opponents in the last three seasons, which is second nationally in that time...ISU owns seven wins against the RPI top-50.

- Georges Niang, who is on the Wooden Award Late Season Top 20, is leading the Cyclones with 19.4 points per game, which is second among Big 12 players...his 2,014 career points rank third in ISU history and sixth in Big 12 history...Niang passed his former coach Fred Hoiberg and went over 2,000 career points at Baylor...he has scored in double figures in 35 consecutive games, including 20 or more points 11 times this season....Niang is the winningest player in school history (93 wins)...Niang is one of 12 active players nationally to score 500 points in each of the last three seasons.
- Monté Morris, a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award, continues to be a rock for the Cyclones, leading the Big 12 in assists (7.2) and assist-to-turnover ratio (4.9)...he is also second in steals (1.8)...no player has ever led the league in all three stat categories in a season...Morris already owns two of the top-three assist-to-turnover ratios in NCAA history and is leading the nation this season as well...in Big 12 play, Morris has hit 20-of-42 three-pointers, with his 47.6 percent shooting ranking second in the league behind Devonte' Graham (KU, 48.2) and just ahead of Buddy Hield (OU, 46.1).
- Morris needs just four assists to become the third player in ISU history to record 1,000 points, 500 assists and 150 steals...only Jeff Hornacek and Diante Garrett have accomplished the feat.
- Jameel McKay has 103 career blocked shots, including seven in the last two games...McKay needs just six blocks to move into sixth all-time at Iowa State...he is averaging 11.7 points and leads the team with 8.7 rebounds.
- Deonte Burton is averaging 13.8 points and shooting 51.1 percent from the field in the last four games, all of which he started...Burton scored 14 points against Baylor, his fourth consecutive game scoring in double figures.
- Matt Thomas has hit a three-pointer in 16 consecutive games...he is second in the Big 12 averaging 2.3 threes made per game and is shooting 42.7 percent from behind the arc (sixth in Big 12)...the Cyclones are 9-0 when Thomas scores at least 12 points.

- ISU has been to a school-record four consecutive NCAA Tournaments.
- The Cyclones have won back-to-back Big 12 Tournament titles, just the fourth school to win consecutive titles.

- The Cyclones have won at least 11 league games in each of the last four seasons, which is a school record.

- Nader had the best night for the Cyclones, hitting 9-of-14 shots and matching his career high with 26 points...Niang (24) and Morris (20) also hit the 20-point mark, while Burton finished with 14 points...Thomas added seven points, hitting a three for the 16th consecutive game, but the Cyclone bench didn't score.
- Morris posted his fifth double-double of the season, adding 11 assists to his 20-point night.
- Iowa State has struggled since beating Baylor in the 2014 Big 12 Championship final...it was ISU's fourth consecutive loss to the Bears.
