Annual Golf Outing Set for June 10

AMES, Iowa - The Iowa State Athletics Department will host its annual Golf Outing on Friday June 10th presented by the Cyclone Club and Letterwinners Club.
This year's event will be held at Ames Golf & Country Club and will feature two divisions with a best shot format. Prizes will be awarded for first, second, and third place in both divisions. All golfers are eligible to win flag events. Iowa State coaches will be on the course to interact with all golfers and help as a fifth person for drives, chips, and putts for Cardinal division teams.
The Championship division will provide an opportunity to advance to the Acura College Alumni Team Championship at Pinehurst October 27-30, 2016. The winning team will receive an all-expense paid trip except airfare. The Iowa State qualifying team won the 2013 Gross Division and 2014 Bracket Divisions.
Registration fees include a gift, event prizes, continental breakfast, and lunch. Check-in will open in the club room beginning at 7:00 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Lunch with Iowa State coaches will begin upon conclusion of play at Ames Golf & Country Club. A program and awards ceremony will follow at 1 p.m. Deadline to register is Friday, June 3. Space is limited so sign up today!
