AMES, Iowa – Registration is now open for the 7th annual Cyclone Gridiron Club Coaches' Cookoff, which will be held Friday, June 3 at 6 p.m. inside Jack Trice Stadium. The Coaches' Cookoff is one of the Cyclone Gridiron Club's premier annual fundraising events, with all proceeds going directly to support non-budgeted Iowa State football program needs.
The Coaches' Cookoff offers fans a unique opportunity to spend time with Iowa State football coaches as they vie for grillmaster honors, barbecuing pork loin dishes on the football field with the assistance of local restaurant sponsors. Attendees are invited to chat with each coach, sample his creation, and vote for “fan favorite.” A full catered meal and cash bar will also be available.
The event will also feature live and silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, and the opportunity for families to play on the field at Jack Trice Stadium. Admission is $50/person for CGC members, $60 per nonmember, and $10 per child. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the Jacobson Athletic Building's Heartland Hall.
