AMES, Iowa – Seven weeks from tonight, the Iowa State volleyball team will open its 2016 regular season against Wichita State inside the friendly confines of Hilton Coliseum. The first of July also marks the time for fans to ensure they will be there to see the Cyclones in action by renewing or purchasing season tickets for the 2016 season.
Individuals who were season ticket holders in 2015 were emailed earlier today with instructions to renew tickets online. The deadline to renew and retain the same seat location as last season is July 30.

Reserved season tickets are in a limited number, and come with reserved parking, invitations to meet and greets with the Cyclone volleyball team and coaching staff and other special events and gifts. Reserved season tickets will be located in sections 110-113 and 131-134 (see seating diagram here).
For the first time, Iowa State will be offering fans the opportunity to purchase a discounted general admission season ticket package, which also features a parking pass. The general admission season ticket package offers a discount of 40 percent off single-match prices.
The Iowa State home schedule is as loaded as ever, with the 13 home matches including contests against six teams that made the NCAA Volleyball Championship last season and the renewal of the Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series against Iowa on Sept. 9. ISU opens the season against Wichita State on Aug. 26, and welcomes Creighton, fresh off the program's first NCAA Regional Semifinal, on Aug. 28. In Big 12 play, 2015 National Semifinalist Kansas comes to Hilton on Oct. 5, and five-time defending Big 12 champion and 2015 National Runner-Up Texas enters Ames on Nov. 12.
Christy Johnson-Lynch's Cyclones will be in search of their 11th-straight NCAA Volleyball Championship appearance in 2016, and has the talent to do so. Iowa State will be led by a pair of 2015 All-Big 12 First Teamers in Alexis Conaway and Morgan Kuhrt, along with 2015 Big 12 and AVCA Midwest Region Freshman of the Year Jess Schaben.
