Cyclones Ninth At Schooner Classic

NORMAN, Okla. – The Iowa State women's golf team finished ninth at the Schooner Classic at 874, carding rounds of 294-286-294.

Florida State won the team title at 829, 12 strokes better than No. 1 Alabama at 841.

The Cyclones were led by sophomore Chayanit Wangmahaporn, who tied for 12^th at 212. Wangmahaporn fired a final-round 72 today to narrowly miss out on a top-10 performance.

Amelia Grohn tied for 21st at 216 and Celia Barquin tied for 32nd at 221.

ISU is back in action at the Windy City Classic, Oct. 3-4.
