AMES, Iowa - Former Iowa State director of player development Nate Loenser was recently named head coach of the Windy City Bulls, the NBDL affiliate of the NBA's Chicago Bulls.
Loenser, a Cedar Falls, Iowa native and 2002 Iowa State graduate, served as a graduate assistant during the 2013-14 season before being promoted to director of player development on former head coach Fred Hoiberg's staff. In 2015-16, Loenser was video coordinator on Hoiberg's staff for the Chicago Bulls.
Loenser also spent six years as an assistant coach for another Cyclone head coach, Larry Eustachy at Southern Miss from 2004-10.
