• ISU plays its third game in the last four on the road as it travels to TCU for another Big 12 test...the Cyclones are in the midst of playing three games in six days, with two of those coming on the road and the other being a home game on Big Monday against No. 2 Kansas.

• ISU, winners of five of its last six games, heads to Fort Worth with an 11-4 record overall and 3-1 in Big 12 play...the Cyclones, who snapped a six-game road losing streak Wednesday at Oklahoma State, look to start 4-1 in league action for just the second time since 2000 (1999-00, 2014-15).
• ISU is looking to win five consecutive road games against a league foe for the first time in school history.
• Two of Iowa State's four losses have come at the hands of the nation's final two unbeatens (Baylor and Gonzaga) by a total of four points in neutral and road games...the Cyclones also fell in overtime to No. 22 Cincinnati by one point and on the road at rival Iowa...nobody has played Gonzaga closer this season than the Cyclones.
• Iowa State ranks among KenPom.com's top 40 in both adjusted offensive efficiency (39) and defensive efficiency (20)...the Cyclones are second in the Big 12 and 28th nationally in field-goal percentage defense (39.1 percent)...the highest the Cyclones have ranked in the Big 12 in FG percentage defense is third in 1996-97, the first season of Big 12 play.
• ISU is averaging 12.5 steals the last two games, which included 13 against Oklahoma State...it was the Cyclones' most steals against a Big 12 opponent since having 13 takeaways against Kansas in 2006.
• Since its loss to Iowa on Dec. 8, ISU is averaging 81 points per game and shooting 41.7 percent behind the arc...the Cyclones have been making 10.5 3-pointers per game during that six-game stretch...ISU has dished out 17.3 assists and committed just 8.7 turnovers while going 5-1.

• Monté Morris, who on Wednesday was named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25, had one of the best performances in school history by a point guard when he went for 30 points, five rebounds, five assists, four steals and zero turnovers in 39 minutes against Oklahoma State...in Big 12 play, Morris is second in the league averaging 19.5 points...Morris, who led the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio as a freshman and sophomore, is back at No. 1 this season at 5.31...Morris has 22 assists and one turnover in Big 12 action and he's got just two turnovers in the last 217 minutes he's played.
• Nazareth Mitrou-Long is averaging 17.6 points and shooting 56.7 percent from the field and 43.1 percent behind the arc in the eight games since going scoreless against Cincinnati...he has hit a three in 14 of 15 games this season and became the second ISU player to reach 200 career 3-pointers.
• Deonte Burton scored 27 points against Texas, his second game this season with 25 or more points (29 vs. Gonzaga)...in the last three games, Burton is posting 16.7 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals, 2.5 blocks in 25.7 minutes...Burton is currently leading the Cyclones in blocks (17) and steals (22)...the last Cyclone to lead ISU in both was Royce White (2011-12).

• Steve Prohm is 2-0 against TCU...this will be his first meeting against a Jamie Dixon coached team.

Last Time Out - Morris' Career Night Leads ISUÂ To Road Win
• Morris had one of the best all-around games in school history, finishing with 30 points, five rebounds, five assists, four steals and zero turnovers in leading Iowa State to a 96-86 win at Oklahoma State Wednesday...it was ISU's fourth consecutive win in Stillwater after losing the previous 18 games on the Cowboys' home floor.
• Morris was one of five Cyclones in double figures...he was joined by Thomas (19), Mitrou-Long (17), Bowie (13) and Burton (12).
