• ISU wraps up a stretch of three games in six days when it hosts Kansas on ESPN's Big Monday...it will be the 700th game played at Hilton Coliseum...ISU is 83-8 at home the last six seasons, including 41-6 against league foes in that time.

• ISU, which is 5-2 in its last seven games with the two losses coming on the road in Big 12 play by nine total points, returns home with an 11-5 overall record and 3-2 in conference action.
• ISU is looking to beat KU at Hilton Coliseum for the third consecutive season...overall, ISU has won 4-of-the-last-6 meetings in the series.
• Iowa State is 5-0 the last two seasons at home following a road Big 12 loss.
• Two of Iowa State's five losses have come at the hands of the what were the nation's final two unbeatens (Baylor and Gonzaga) by a total of four points in neutral and road games...the Cyclones also fell in overtime to No. 22 Cincinnati by one point...nobody has played Gonzaga closer this season than the Cyclones.

• Morris, who on Wednesday was named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25, had one of the best performances in school history by a point guard when he went for 30 points, five rebounds, five assists, four steals and zero turnovers in 39 minutes against Oklahoma State...in Big 12 play, Morris is fourth in the league averaging 17.4 points...Morris, who led the nation in assist-to-turnover ratio as a freshman and sophomore, is back at No. 1 this season at 5.81...Morris has 30 assists and one turnover in Big 12 action and he's got just two turnovers in the last 252 minutes he's played.
• Nazareth Mitrou-Long is averaging 17.8 points and shooting 56.9 percent from the field and 44.4 percent behind the arc in the eight games since going scoreless against Cincinnati...he has hit a three in 15 of 16 games this season and became the second ISU player to reach 200 career 3-pointers.
• Deonte Burton is currently leading the Cyclones in blocks (18) and steals (24)...the last Cyclone to lead ISU in both was Royce White (2011-12).
• Donovan Jackson came off the bench against TCU to score a career-high 16 points, all of which came in the first half...Jackson hit 4-of-5 three-pointers...in games in which he hits a 3-pointer, Jackson is averaging 9.1 points per game.

• Iowa State has won four of the last six meetings in the series, including the last two at Hilton Coliseum...KU leads in games played at Hilton Coliseum, 23-22.
• Steve Prohm is 1-1 coaching against Kansas and Bill Self as the teams split last season with both winning at home.

Last Time Out - Cyclones Fall At TCU
• Iowa State dropped its first game to TCU since the Horned Frogs joined the Big 12, falling 84-77 Saturday in Fort Worth...TCU shot 56.9 percent compared to 46.2 percent shooting from the Cyclones.
• Mitrou-Long led the Cyclones for the third time in five Big 12 games, finishing with 19 points...he was one of four Cyclones in double figures...Donovan Jackson scored 16 points off the bench (4-5 3FG)...Thomas (10) and Nick Weiler-Babb (10) also scored in double digits.
• Morris had nine points, eight assists and zero turnovers.
Iowa State vs. No. 1
• With Kansas believed by many to be moving into the top spot in the AP poll, ISU will likely face its third game against a No. 1 team in the last two seasons...the Cyclones beat Oklahoma last season at home and fell to Kansas on the road.
• Iowa State is 2-18 all-time against No. 1 teams in the AP poll...besides the win against OU last season, ISU's only other upset victory against a top-ranked team came on Jan. 14, 1957 when a Gary Thompson-led ISU squad beat Wilt Chamberlain's Kansas squad, 39-37, at The Armory in Ames.
700th Game At Hilton Coliseum
• Monday's game marks the 700th played at Hilton Coliseum...the arena, which opened Dec. 2, 1971 with a 71-54 win against Arizona, has hosted the Cyclones to a 529-170 (.757) record.
