Iowa State-Kansas Men's Hoops Game Still On For Tonight

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State Athletics Department has confirmed that the Iowa State-Kansas men's basketball game will go on as scheduled for tonight.
Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. CT on ESPN.
"We have been in close contact with the Big 12 Conference Office, Kansas Athletics Department staff and local officials throughout the evening and morning," said Iowa State Athletics Director Jamie Pollard. "Based on those discussions, the latest weather reports, local road conditions and the hard work of our facilities and grounds staff, it has been decided that the game will be played this evening as originally scheduled."
Iowa State officials want to remind fans to use precaution and allow extra travel time when arriving to the game tonight.
"Although we fully anticipate that Cyclone fans will come out in full force for this evening's game, we strongly encourage fans to use extreme caution as weather conditions can vary significantly, especially in outlying areas," Pollard added.
