AMES, Iowa - Join us as for the Hy-Vee Classic Pre-Party on Saturday, Dec. 16 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. to cheer on the Iowa State men's basketball team. All four schools- Iowa State, UNI, Drake and Iowa- are collaborating to bring you one large, shared event!
Cash refreshments with snacks and appetizers will be provided while supplies last. There will be music by DJ Dave Gallagher, giveaways, mascots and pep rallies with each school's pep band and cheer squad—fun for everyone! The Cyclone spirit squad, pep band and mascot will lead the Iowa State portion of the program around 12:20 p.m. Don't forget to wear your Cardinal & Gold!
As in years past, all four schools will work together to collect new or gently used adult coats, hats, gloves, and mittens for donation to the Central Iowa Shelter and Services. The mission of Central Iowa Shelter & Services is to provide low-barrier shelter, meals, and support services at no cost to adults experiencing homelessness and to facilitate their move toward self-sufficiency.
