• Iowa State, which has climbed into a tie for second in the Big 12, looks to win its fifth conference road game as it travels to Texas Tech for a Monday night showdown...it is ISU's third game in six days...the Cyclones are looking for their fourth consecutive conference win, which would match its longest Big 12 streak since last season...ISU has only won four Big 12 games in a row three times since 2005.

• A fifth conference road win would mark just the fifth time in school history ISU won five league road games in a season.
• ISU ranks among KenPom.com's top 30 in both adjusted offensive efficiency (30) and defensive efficiency (29)...in the KenPom era (since 2001-02), its the best defensive efficiency since 2005 (10)...the Cyclones are No. 24 in KenPom's rankings...ISU is among the nation's top-20 teams in steals per game (8.3)...Deonte Burton has 50 steals after recording 24 steals as a junior.
• Monté Morris has proven himself as one of the nation's most consistent performers and best point guards...he is first nationally in assist-to-turnover ratio (6.0) and is also the nation's active career leader (4.74)...only seven times in NCAA Division I men's basketball history has a player led the nation in any stat category three times in their career like Morris is on pace to do...on Saturday, Morris became just the 11th Divsion I player in since 1992-93 to record 1,500 points, 700 assists and 200 steals...he is the only player in that group with less than 200 turnovers (Andre Miller (Utah) was next best with 279).
• In Big 12 play, Morris has taken his ball control to another level...he is averaging one turnover every 48.4 minutes he's played...since 1996-97, no DI player has averaged 34 minutes, 5.0 assists and 1.0 turnovers per game in a season as he is doing...Morris, who broke Jeff Hornacek's career assist record, will break his steals mark with next takeaway.
• Matt Thomas and Nazareth Mitrou-Long have been shooting it at a high clip this season, but especially the last eight games...in that stretch, Thomas (27) and Mitrou-Long (29) have combined to make 56 threes (7.0 per game) at a 49.1 percent clip...in the last five games, Mitrou-Long has hit 24-of-48 threes...the Cyclones are shooting 46.4 percent on threes as a team in that time.
• Deonte Burton leads ISU in steals (50) & blocks (37) this season and is aiming to become the first Cyclone to lead the team in both categories since Royce White (2011-12)...only Lafester Rhodes (87-88) has recorded 40 blocks and 40 steals in the same season.
• Freshman Solomon Young has started the last three games for the Cyclones...he posted the best game of his career at K-State, leading the Cyclones with 18 points and 12 rebounds, both career highs, for his first double-double...as a starter, Young is averaging 10 points and 6 rebounds, while shooting 77.8 percent from the field (14-16 FG).
• In the last three games, ISU is averaging 18.0 assists...the Cyclones are shooting 85.1 percent at the line the last two games.
• ISU continues to rank among the nation's top teams in taking care of the basketball...the Cyclones average 10.3 turnovers per game, which leads the Big 12 and is seventh nationally...ISU's turnover percentage of 14.1 is No. 2 nationally and its turnover margin (+5.2) is fourth nationally...ISU has had fewer turnovers than its opponents in 22 of 26 games.

• Morris posted his fourth double-double this season, dishing out 11 assists to just one turnover...he topped 700 career assists in the game...with two steals, Morris matched Jeff Hornacek for the career steals record (211)...Morris also set the school record for consecutive games started (112).
