• No. 24 ISU looks to extend its six-game win streak when it faces No. 10 West Virginia in the regular season finale for both teams...a win would match ISU's second longest Big 12 win streak and give it 13 league wins, which would match the second-most in school history (2000-01)...with a win, ISU would finish in sole possession of second place in the Big 12.

• Iowa State rolls into March after posting a 7-1 record in February, including a season-best six-game win streak to close the month.
• ISU re-entered the Associated Press top-25 this week at No. 24...the Cyclones fell out in December, ending a streak of 61 consecutive weeks ranked...Friday's game will be ISU's second this season with both teams ranked (L, 73-71 to Gonzaga)...the Cyclones are 2-4 against top-25 teams this season...ISU won its second game against a top-10 opponent when it beat Baylor...under Steve Prohm, ISU has defeated four top-10 opponents (AP poll) in less than two seasons...the Cyclones had 33 top-10 wins in the 108 seasons prior to Prohm's tenure...a win would make Prohm the first ISU coach to win two true road games against top-10 opponents.

• In Big 12 play, Morris has taken his ball control to another level...he is averaging one turnover every 46.5 minutes he's played...since 1996-97, no DI player has averaged 35 minutes, 5.0 assists and 1.0 turnovers per game in a season...Morris broke Jeff Hornacek's career steals record on Tuesday, less than a month after breaking his assist record.
• Matt Thomas and Nazareth Mitrou-Long have been shooting it at a high clip this season, but especially the last 11 games...in that stretch, both players have made 37 threes to combine to make 74 threes (6.7 per game) at a 48.7 percent clip...ISU is 19th nationally in 3-point percentage (39.8 percent) and 16th making 9.9 threes per game...ISU has five players with 30 or more made threes for the first time since 2013-14...in the last 10 games, Donovan Jackson is 18-for-29 (62.1%) on 3-pointers.
