• Iowa State concludes its two-game homestand Wednesday night when it faces No. 15 West Virginia...the Cyclones have 26 wins vs. top-25 since 2013-14 (fifth-most nationally).
• The Cyclones are 1-3 this season against the top-25 with eight of their remaining 10 regular season games against teams currently receiving top-25 votes.

• Iowa State has won two of its last three games at home after falling to Tennessee Saturday at Hilton Coliseum...the Cyclones are looking to beat WVU at home for the first time since 2015.
• Redshirt freshman Cameron Lard, last week's Co-Big 12 Newcomer of the Week, is averaging 13.5 points, 7.8 rebounds and 3.2 blocks in six career starts...he  has been in double figures in 10 of the last 12 games...for the season, Lard is averaging 11.7 points, 7.4 rebounds and 2.1 blocks, making him one of three freshman nationally and one of just 16 players overall averaging 11-7-2...he has posted five double-doubles, which ties for the fourth most by a freshman in school history...Lard has 14 blocks in the last five games...he is 12th nationally shooting 64.2 percent from the field.
• Lindell Wigginton, a two-time Big 12 Newcomer of the Week honoree, is second among Big 12 freshmen in scoring average (15.9), his seven 20-point efforts trail only Marcus Fizer and Curtis Stinson's freshman record of eight 20-point games...he saw his streak of five consecutive games in double figures come to an end against Tennessee (nine points)...his 45 three-pointers made are second-most on ISU's freshman chart, just 16 behind Jake Sullivan's record.
•  ISU will be without Nick Weiler-Babb (left knee tendinitis), who is one of college basketball's most well-rounded players...a stat-sheet stuffer, Weiler-Babb is the only player nationally averaging at least 11 points to go along with seven rebounds and seven assists...he has seven double-doubles this season...the only player in Big 12 history to record a 200 point-200 rebound-200 assist season as Weiler-Babb is on pace to do was former Cyclone All-American DeAndre Kane (2013-14)...Weiler-Babb ranks ninth nationally averaging 7.0 assists per game and is third in the Big 12 with a 2.6 a/to ratio, posting six double-digit assist games...he will miss this week and will be re-evaluated weekly.
•  Zoran Talley Jr. is expected to start in Weiler-Babb's spot...it will be his first start as a Cyclone and be Iowa State's fourth different starting lineup this season and the third in as many games...Talley, who missed seven games earlier this season with a stress fracture in his foot, has come into form lately...over the last five games he is averaging 7.8 points while shooting 60.9 percent from the field.
• Donovan Jackson has eight 20-point games this season, seven of which have seen him score at least 24 points...he's second on the team averaging 15.4 points...among Big 12 players, only OU's Trae Young has more games with at least 24 points...Jackson is 41-of-44 from the free-throw line, topping the Big 12 at 93.2 percent...he's among the nation's top-40 this season in 3-pointers made (65) and with 109 made in his career he ranks 15th all-time at ISU.
• In conference play, ISU and Duke are the only teams in the nation's top six leagues to have two rookies averaging 14 ppg.

Last Time Out: Cyclones Struggle Against Tennessee
• Not much went right for the Cyclones as they fell to Tennessee, 68-45, Saturday afternoon at Hilton Coliseum in the Big 12/SEC Challenge...the Cyclones jumped out to a 17-15 lead with 8:00 minutes left in the first half before UT went on a 14-0 run that effectively broke open the game.
• The Cyclones shot just 33.3 percent from the field and made just 7-of-17 from the line...defensively, ISU held Tennessee to just 38.7 percent shooting, but the Vols connected on 12-of-30 three-pointers...the Cyclones made just four 3-pointers.
• Donovan Jackson was the only Cyclone to reach double figures, scoring 13 points...it was ISU's first game with just one player in double figures since the 2010-11 season (twice).
• Off the bench, Zoran Talley Jr. had eight points, three boards, two assists, two steals and one block.
Up Next: Baylor
• Iowa State finishes out the season series against Baylor Saturday evening...the Cyclones will look to earn the sweep for the first time since 2013 after beating the Bears, 75-65, Jan. 13 at Hilton Coliseum...ISU hasn't won at Baylor since the 2013 season, but the last three meetings have been decided by a total of 12 points, with the largest BU victory in that time a nine-point overtime win.
