AMES, Iowa – The USTFCCCA announced its week 4 National Coaches' Poll, and the Cyclones enter the week ranked No. 6 nationally. ISU is coming off a fourth-place finish at the Nuttycombe Invitational this past weekend, which contested one of the toughest fields in the nation.
The Iowa State men also continue to occupy the top spot in the Midwest Regional Poll, as well as the Big 12. FloTrack has the Cyclones ranked No. 4 nationally.
Individually, Iowa State touts two runners in the top-25, per FloTrack. After a runner-up performance in Madison, All-American Edwin Kurgat is ranked No. 5 nationally, while Big 12 Runner of the Year Andrew Jordan is tabbed at No. 16.
The Iowa State men will have a brief break before they return to action. They are scheduled to compete at the Ideal Rentals Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 12 and/or Pre-Nationals on Oct. 13.
