Department Awards Letter Jackets at Ceremony

AMES, Iowa – The Iowa State Letterwinners Club honored spring sport student-athletes who earned letters in their respective sports Monday evening.
The new letterwinners were awarded with an "I" that is embedded into the Cardinal and Gold letter jacket at a ceremony in the Sukup End Zone Club.
"Earing this jacket means the world. This is kind of a second chance for me and means everything to have this second chance," ISU diving record holder Dana Liva said about earning her letter jacket. "It's an honor to be a student-athlete at any level, but it's even better with the family, team and community here that makes this a little more special."
The student-athletes and managers in basketball, golf, gymnastics, softball, swimming & diving, track & field, tennis and wrestling were given their jackets by Letterwinners Club vice president Judge Johnston and their respective coaches.
